Housing Development Sites
Build Canada Homes is advancing Housing Development projects on federal lands across Canada, demonstrating how public land can be used to deliver housing at scale.
A mixed-market approach will be used across all sites, combining market and below-market housing to support affordability and complete communities.
The Housing Development projects are one aspect of BCH’s broader approach to developing complete communities: depending on the property, they typically involve one or two parcels within a larger site, while the overall community continues to advance through broader planning, partnerships, infrastructure, amenities and future phases of development.
